In School Yard
  1. Start of Exchange Program
In 1996, as we celebrated our school's 10th aniversary, we started an exchange program with Biloela State High School. It has helped add a new element to the features of our school, which has tried to be more 'internationalized'. The first Biloela group arrived at Saitama on April 8, just before the start of the new school year.

  2. The Way The Exchange Program Is Held
    1. Homestay in Saitama
The Biloela group homestays with the famiiles of Wako students and go to school for 2 weeks during their autumn holidays. Their main activity is to participate in our regular classes., although we organize some 'special' classes on the Japanese language and Japanese culture. A farewell party is also given toward the end of the period for all the participants.

    2. Homestay in Biloela
The Wako group visit Biloela for 2 weeks in August during their summer holidays. The program is organized along the same line as in Wako. The Japanese teachers also work as assistant teachers especially in Biloela's Japanese classes.
