It was 6th V/C as regular
meets with Punahou School, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Our Research Class asked Japanese class at Punahou to have this Video
Conference (V/C) for exchanging each culture. To start the exchange
program, both students had introduced each other on the Bulletin
Board.
About Date/Time for V/C, after arranging we decided to have it on No
school day (Saturday ) for us and No class ( in after school) for
Punahou. However we really had a great time with sharing each culture.
Our students asked about holidays, money, death punish, school rule,
fashion and TV program in English, and Punahou students asked about
downtown where teens love, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Harajyuku and so on in
Japanese. Both students answered in English and Japanese. We are
always surprised that Punahou's Japanese is great!
